As the day of SPF 3.0 showcase draws near, everyone’s getting more prepared to perform on Saturday!

Hi CAMPERS!

Hope you guys are just as ready as we are to prepare for the SPF Showcase! Listed below are the pieces taught during PAC Camp 2010 and how they will be broken down into their performance sets. Everything was organized by what you voted for as top 3 this past Monday.

Campers, choose three pieces from the chart! You can only pick one from each row (1A, 2B, 3C or 1A, 2A, 3A). The reason why you CAN’T pick from the same row (1A, 1B, 1C) is because all of the pieces in that row will be blocking at the same time.

We recommend you try to stay within the same LETTER (1A, 2A, 3A). Each letter represents one performing set just to help minimize your costume changes.

Confused? We’ll be available to answer any questions you may have today at PAC Camp.

If you’re a camper and you can’t be here for the next few days and you’re planning on performing at SPF on August 14, please contact your group leader. Let them know which pieces you want to do so they can make sure you’re blocked into a piece!

Also, start bringing some markers and crayons for your group poster. These posters will be shown throughout the lobby at SPF so break out with your creativity!

It’s almost here!

August 14th at Wilson High School Auditorium(4400 East 10th Street, Long Beach). Doors open at 5:30pm, show starts at 6:00pm.

PARKING is FREE and available either on the street, in designated parking lots or across the street from the auditorium on Wilson’s outdoor basketball courts (stay posted for a map of where to park).

TICKETS are $10 presale / $12 at the door.
Everyone is welcome to visit us at the pyramid Thursday and Friday at 8pm to purchase more presale tickets before the day of the showcase! You can also purchase $12 at the venue day of.

Venue features two levels: lower and balcony and holds up to 1400 people. Seating is first come, first serve. Performers may watch the show from the upstairs balcony.

For SPF 2.0, the end of PAC camp showcase, PAC Modern opened up any design ideas to the kids of summer PAC camp 2009. Below was the winning design featuring two of the campers designs (I was a camper last year and my design got chosen for the front!)

This year, we’re opening up the contest AGAIN!

For all you drawers, designers, artsy campers out there, we’re looking for a new T-shirt design for SPF 3.0. All the campers and PAC Modern will be receiving this limited edition tee shirt featuring work by you on the day of the showcase.

You’re welcome to submit your design either by turning it in by hand or emailing to pacmodern@yahoo.com. Don’t be afraid if you think you can’t draw or design. IF you have an idea, turn it in anyways!  PAC Camp is made especially for you, and we want you guys to be able to make this design your own.
